Axial pumps are used for circulating water supply of thermal and nuclear power plants, in irrigation systems, in industry and other sectors of the economy.
The purpose of axial pumps of the OV type (OPV) is to pump water with suspended particles. The maximum level of their mass concentration is 0.3%, and the size does not exceed 0.1 mm. The proportion of abrasive particles is up to 2%, and the temperature is up to 35C° (308 K). According to a special order, the pumps can be manufactured specifically for the seawater pumping process.
